Bryce and Cindy Gaudian of Hayward announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Gaudian, to Tyler Kerber. Tyler is the son of Charlie Kerber of Hastings and Tracy Kerber of Eagan.

The bride is the granddaughter of the late Phil and Edie Tennis of Hayward and Marty and Kathy Gaudian of Oak Creek, Wis.

The groom is the grandson of Donald and Carole May of Hastings and Harry and Kathleen Kerber of Poultney, Vt.

The bride is an Albert Lea High School graduate and has a master’s degree in speech language pathology from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. She is employed by Functional Kids Clinic in Maplewood.

The groom is an Eagan High School graduate and has a bachelor of science degree in marketing from University of Wisconsin-River Falls. He is employed by Walgreens.

A wedding is planned for Aug. 16, 2014, at Alchrist Farm in Hayward.
