Lois Ann (Jensen) Loverink was born on a farm near Alden Aug. 11, 1934, to Harold and Catherine Jensen. She had one sister, Elsie (Jensen) Vint. She attended and graduated from Alden High School in 1952.

In 1953 she married Richard Loverink and had two children, Scott Loverink and Bambi (Loverink) Jung. She had 16 nieces and nephews, three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. In 2002 she moved to California to be near her daughter and sister and their families. She will be laid to rest at a graveside service at 10 a.m. Monday at the Alden Cemetery.
