The Albert Lea girls’ soccer team defeated Mankato West 2-1 Tuesday at Jim Gustafson Field.

“We did enough to win a very competitive game,” said Albert Lea coach Rick Barnhill. “West has excellent speed and some highly skilled players littered throughout their line-up. Our program continues to get results way beyond its face value and that is a credit to all of our players to play in a way that compliments their abilities.”
