Attempted break-in reported

A security seal on the back of a semitrailer was reported broken at 7:17 a.m. Monday. Nothing was missing inside the trailer. The seal appeared to have been broken sometime overnight Sunday.

 

Woman arrested for DWI

Albert Lea police arrested Carol Ann Jacobson, 59, for third-degree driving while intoxicated at 7:20 p.m. Monday after receiving a report of a driver who reportedly hit the Korner Mart building, 901 W. Main St., near the drive-thru area. There was no damage to the building.

 

Employee cited for shoplifting

Police cited an employee at Shopko, 2610 Bridge Ave., for shoplifting at 6:02 p.m. Monday.
