AUSTIN — A 22-year-old Albert Lea man faces even more criminal sexual conduct charges after he allegedly molested three Mower County children over the span of two years.
Roger Conner pleaded not guilty Monday to a second-degree criminal sexual conduct on a victim younger than 13, the third such case filed over the past few months. Conner faces first-degree and second-degree criminal sexual conduct charges in two other cases.
According to court complaints, Conner allegedly molested a boy and a girl over a period of two years from 2011 to 2013. The victims and their mother reported the abuse to police in September.
Conner allegedly repeatedly touched the girl numerous times, according to the report. The mother told police a roommate allegedly walked in on Conner inappropriately touching one of the victims, which caused Conner to become angry and kick the roommate out of the home.
The mother also allegedly told police the boy would allegedly get “night terrors” at the same time many nights, which could have been when the abuse took place.
During the investigation, police found a third victim that lived in the home for two months in early 2013. That victim told police Conner allegedly touched her private areas during her first night at the home. Conner allegedly told the victim not to tell anyone or he would wash her mouth out with soap, according to a report. The third victim also told police she saw Conner molesting one of the other victims several times during her stay.
He pleaded not guilty in the other cases in November and September.
Conner was released on bail on Dec. 1. His next court appearance is in March.
