BRAINERD — Brainerd police have arrested two suspects in connection with a double shooting at an apartment building.

A 23-year-old man and the 26-year-old man, both of Brainerd, were arrested several hours after the Sunday evening shooting. Police issued a warning to the public as they continued to search for the men following the incident.

A 31-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman suffered from apparent gunshot wounds to the head. They were taken to a local hospital, where their current conditions were unknown as of late Sunday night.

Police said the woman was conscious and talking but the man was unconscious.
