Our Father’s House invites the public to its Winter Conference from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jan. 17. There will be a catered lunch at noon.

John and Jackie Matthews of Scarlet Thread Ministries in Coon Rapids will teach on the covenant of Jesus’s blood.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only son, so that whoever believes in him will not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

This is the theme of the Bible. All great love stories have heroes and tragedy and triumph, and there is no story more dramatic than the account of human redemption through Jesus’s blood recorded in the Bible, according to a press release from the church.

It is the subject that makes the 66 books of the Bible feel like one book.
