District 27A Rep. Peggy Bennett, R-Albert Lea, will hold a “Pizza with Peggy” lunchtime listening session from noon to 1:30 p.m. March 7 at Jake’s Pizza in Wells. People from all parts of the district are invited to come for a slice of pizza and to give feedback about the legislative session and the issues being debated in St. Paul.
“Hearing your feedback and opinions helps me better represent our community, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts on what’s going on so far in St. Paul,” Bennett said. “Come down to Jake’s for a slice of pizza and let me know what you hope to see from the legislature this year, and what issues are important to you.”
People not able to attend the event are encouraged to share their comments or questions by emailing rep.peggy.bennett@house.mn or calling 651-296-8216. Mail can be sent to Rep. Peggy Bennett, 507 State Office Building, 100 Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Saint Paul, MN 55155. Bennett said she plans to hold additional listening sessions in other parts of the district in the coming weeks and months.
The meeting is open to the public and free to attend. Food and beverages will be available for purchase, but people are not required to purchase food to attend.
