Dillavou & Sprague

Laura Dillavou and Joshua Sprague, both of Des Moines, were married at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 4, 2014, in Ames, Iowa, in a double ring ceremony. The Rev. Jaime Paca officiated and a wedding reception followed at the Iowa State University alumni center. A wedding trip was taken to St. Lucia in December 2014.
Laura is the daughter of Earl and Pat Dillavou of Glenville.
Joshua is the son of Jerry Sprague and Jane Foth, both of Osage, Iowa, and is the grandson of Mary Lou Sprague of Charles City, Iowa.
The bride went to Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa, for her undergraduate degree and Iowa State University in Ames for her graduate degree. She is employed by Johnston Community School District.
The groom went to Iowa State University in Ames. He is employed by Telligan and the Iowa Army National Guard.
The maid of honor was Katherine Crowley, friend of the bride, of Washington, D.C. Bridesmaids were Gayle Mines, sister of the bride, of Lakeville, Ellen Dillavou, sister of the bride, of Pittsburgh, Kyla Thompson, friend of the couple, of St. Paul, Jen Malm, friend of the bride, of St. Peter and Erin Mines, niece of the bride, of Lakeville.
The best man was Travis Sprague, brother of the groom, of Lake Park, Iowa. Groomsmen were James Shinn, friend of the groom, of Mason City, Iowa, Chad Weber, friend of the groom, of Charles City, Nate Soriano, friend of the groom, of West Des Moines, Iowa, and Diego Gonzalez, friend of the groom, of Chicago.
Ushers were Brian Prom, cousin of the groom, of Campbell, California, and Grant Thompson, cousin of the groom, of St. Paul.
Readers were Kristin Soriano, friend of the couple, of West Des Moines and Jessica Prom, cousin of the groom, of Campbell.
