Multiple vehicles broken into in Clarks Grove

A vehicle was reported broken into at 3:28 a.m. Feb. 13 at 102 Second St. SW in Clarks Grove. Several items were missing.

An iPod was reported stolen out of a vehicle at 7:57 a.m. Feb. 13 at 306 Independence Ave. S. in Clarks Grove. The theft reportedly took place overnight.

A laptop, calculator and wallet were reported stolen out of a vehicle at 9:44 a.m. Feb. 13 at 605 Johnson St. in Hartland. The theft took place overnight.

A car was reported broken into at 2:41 p.m. Feb. 13 at 405 Independence Ave. S. in Clarks Grove.

A vehicle was reported broken into at 12:57 p.m. Sunday at 105 E. Main St. in Clarks Grove. A purse and workout bag were stolen.

 

1 arrested for DWI

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Naree Amy Khamda, 33, for third-degree driving while intoxicated, driving after revocation, providing false information and two warrants out of Olmsted and Goodhue counties after a traffic stop at 2:14 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of Blake Avenue and East Main Street in Albert Lea.

 

Items reported stolen

A PlayStation 4, several games and a controller were reported missing at 12:31 p.m. Feb. 9 from 504 ½ Bridge Ave.

A tablet was reported stolen at 3:27 p.m. Feb. 9 from 1008 Dunham St.

 

Gate damaged

A gate was reported damaged at 9:08 a.m. Feb. 10 at 15777 795th Ave., Glenville.

 

Hit-and-run crashes reported

Police received a report of a hit-and-run crash at 3:16 p.m. Feb. 11. The crash reportedly took place while the vehicle was parked at Albert Lea High School.

A hit-and-run crash was reported at 4:21 p.m. Feb. 12 to a vehicle parked at Halverson Elementary School.

 

2 cited for drug paraphernalia

Police cited Katelynn Tiffany Tripp, 18, and a juvenile for possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at 8:21 p.m. Feb. 12 near the intersection of Euclid Avenue and West Main Street.
