The community is invited to attend a presentation Thursday evening about the future of all of the city-owned buildings and facilities.
The meeting, with city leaders and representatives from BKV Group of Minneapolis, will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Marion Ross Performing Arts Center, 141 N. Broadway.
BKV Group studied all of the facilities and looked into what the needs are for each site and whether they should be renovated or if new facilities should be built.
This includes City Hall itself and the fire station.
Two possible concepts for the Blazing Star Landing, the former site of Wilson & Co., will also be unveiled during the presentation.
People will be able to ask questions following the presentation.
“It should be an interesting event for everyone in town,” Albert Lea Mayor Vern Rasmussen said.
