The Freeborn County Arts Initiative presents “Animals on Chairs” by artist Julie Fakler.
Fakler is a Faribault artist and has a special affinity with animals. For her show, “Animals on Chairs,” she focuses on house pets and some of their favorite places, comfy chairs. These paintings are expressive, relaxing and humorous. If you like animals, this show is a real treat.
Julie works in collaboration with animal shelters including the Humane Society and has adopted many pets during her lifetime.
The Freeborn County Humane Society will display photos of pets available for adoption as well.
An artist’s reception and open house will be from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
The exhibition runs through April 30.
