Holly and Brian Karsjens
Holly and Brian have been married since September and live in Albert Lea with their dogs Louie and Jax.
Holly, originally from Alden, owns Timeless Photog and is a dance instructor at Echo Step, both of which are based in Albert Lea.
Brian, originally from Clarks Grove, owns Karsjens Floorcovering Plus in Albert Lea.
The couple considers themselves to be “foodies” and like to travel. They recently toured the East Coast and have gone to the Bahamas and New Orleans. Brian enjoys going duck hunting and Holly likes to go with him to take pictures. “Then we’re both shooting,” she said.
Holly got her first tattoo on her 18th birthday, and Brian got his first one in 2008 when he was 24. Holly’s current plans are to finish her full sleeve and Brian has some that he’d like changed or finished. They both get their work done by Gilbert Johnson Jr. at The Chapel in Albert Lea.
Leilani, Anthony and Lindsey Maiden
Leilani Maiden lives in New Richland, as does her son, Anthony, and his wife, Lindsey.
Leilani is a program support assistant for Vocational Rehab in St. Paul, where she works with disabled veterans to help them get jobs. She was a yeoman secretary in the U.S. Navy and likes to make jewelry in her spare time.
Anthony and Lindsey have been married since Jan. 31. They enjoy playing video games in their free time.
The family goes about once a month together to Gilbert Johnson Jr. at The Chapel in Albert Lea to get work done.
“It’s our family outing,” said Leilani.
Leilani and Anthony are working on full body suits and Lindsey plans to have two full sleeves of tattoos done eventually.
