GLENVILLE — Ten seniors will graduate next week with their high school diplomas from Glenville-Emmons High School.
The school’s principal, Jeff Tietje, said the class size is lower than what they’ve had in the past. Typically, Tietje said, the school’s class numbers are somewhere in the mid- to low-20s. He also said that some of the classes that will graduate in upcoming years should return back to those numbers.
Glenville-Emmons seniors will have their last day of school on Thursday and will have their graduation ceremony at 7 p.m. May 22 in the high school gym. Tietje said the class took a senior trip to Chicago May 8, 9 and 10 that they had been fundraising for since being in the seventh grade through concession stands, magazine sales and other fundraising events.
Tietje said he’s always proud of the school’s graduates.
“Congratulations,” he said. “And best of luck.”
