Greg and Patti Feuerhelm of St. Charles and Gordy and Deb Wenum of Albert Lea announce the engagement of their children Kristin Feuerhelm and Mitchell Wenum.

The bride is a 2009 graduate of St. Charles High School and received a degree in elementary education from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa. She is currently employed as a kindergarten teacher in the North Tama County Community School District in Traer, Iowa.

The groom is a 2007 graduate of Albert Lea High School. He received a degree in civil engineering from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. He is currently working as an assistant city engineer in Austin.

An Aug. 8, 2015, wedding is planned at St. Charles Boromeo Catholic Church in St. Charles.
