Trevor Varner of Northwood-Kensett drives the ball through a light mist on the fourth hole Friday during a four-team coed meet at Northwood Country Club. Varner completed the course in 47 strokes, which was second in the Vikings’ scoring and eighth overall. Northwood-Kensett, 194, took third place. Although Northwood-Kensett competed against individuals from Nashua-Plainfield, Riceville and West Fork, only Northwood-Kensett and Nashua-Plainfield competed at the team level.
