The Naeve Hospital Auxiliary will host a linen and bedding sale from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday in the Foundation Board Room, located on the lower level at Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea.

Super soft sheet sets, baby blankets, mink blankets, Sherpa throws, seven-piece comforter sets and authentic Egyptian cotton sheets will be for sale.

All proceeds from this sale will benefit Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea. The auxiliary, founded in 1906, serves medical center patients and families and raises funds for equipment, furnishings and patient care items.

Friday

• The cancer survivorship walking group will meet at 3 p.m. at the Mayo Clinic Health System at Health Reach walking track. Call 507-379-2050 with questions and ask for Stacy, Kellie or Sydney.

• The Pelican Breeze II pizza cruise will leave at 6 p.m. from Frank Hall Park. Cost is $20. Call 507-383-7273 by 4 p.m. Friday to reserve a spot.

Saturday

• The Albert Lea Farmers Market will be from 9 a.m. to noon at the Northbridge Mall parking lot.

• Take a Kid Fishing will be from 9 a.m. to noon at Edgewater Park. Poles and equipment will be furnished. Anyone over 16 bringing a child 16 and under doesn’t need a license to fish.

• Ruby’s Pantry will be from 10 a.m. to noon at Assembly of God Church. Bring two boxes or laundry baskets and $20.

 

Sunday

• Enjoy breakfast from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Eagles Club. Pancakes, eggs, sausages, biscuits and gravy, juice, milk and coffee will be served. Cost is $7.

• The Alden American Legion will serve breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon at the legion. Pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage links, milk and coffee will be served. Cost is $5, children 6 and under are free.

• The Al Batt Pelican Breeze II cruise will leave from Frank Hall Park at 1:30 p.m. Cost is $10 per person and all attendees must be at the park by 1:15 p.m. Reserve a spot by calling 507-383-7273.
