I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to the citizens of District 5 for providing me with the honor and privilege of representing you as your county commissioner. I take these duties very seriously and strive to represent you and all the citizens of Freeborn County to the best of my ability. As we move into the second half of 2015, there will be many difficult decisions that the county board is going to have to make.  We are now starting work on the 2016 county budget and I value your views and input as we move ahead through this process.
