Sharon Kopp, 1942-2015

Sharon Kopp, 72, of Albert Lea died on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2015, at her home.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Boldt Funeral Home in Faribault. Interment will be at Valley Cemetery in Shakopee. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at Boldt Funeral Home in Faribault and also for one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
Sharon Ann, the daughter of Clarence and Helen (Hanson) Jorgenson, was born on Dec. 20, 1942, in Minneapolis. She served in the United States Army. Sharon married James Kopp on June 18, 1983, in Bloomington. She was employed by various businesses. Sharon enjoyed doing handiwork, including crocheting, knitting and quilting.
She is survived by her husband, James “Jim” Kopp; three children, Cheryl Atkins of Sturgis, Michigan, Marie Frady (John Estes) of Minnetrista and Timothy (Jewel) Qualle of Chaska; 18 grandchildren; 11 great- grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter, Melanie Nicole Frady; three sisters, Phyllis Welch, Bernice Peterson and Lillian Oster; and three brothers, Archie Jorgenson in infancy, Ansel Jorgenson and Clarence Jorgenson.
