Conger 4-H Club

The Conger 4-H Club met on Oct. 11 at the Conger Community Center.

Before the meeting, the Conger and Alden 4-H Clubs enjoyed a hayride together. October is the beginning of the new 4-H year, and members and adult leaders were reminded to re-enroll on mn.4honline.com.  Club dues for members need to be paid as soon as possible. Club elections were held, and the new officers are President Brett Neel, Vice President Caleb Merkouris, Secretary Gage Sailor, Treasurer Elizabeth Wasmoen, Reporter McKenna Jacobs, Historian Ashley Graham and Activity Leaders Shay Sailor and Alex Kuethe. Families then signed up for club committees and serving refreshments.

The Freeborn County Awards Banquet was Saturday at the Fairlane Building, and new county officers and adult leaders will be elected at leader’s council on Monday.  The Conger 4-H Club Banquet and Awards Ceremony will be at 5 p.m. Nov. 8. The club will send invitations to auction buyers. More information will be sent to members regarding the banquet.
