Social media was designed to inform and unite people of a community. Albert Lea Area Schools is committed to communicating with its district through social media, publications and personal connections. The district pushes for more followers as social media becomes one of the main forms of communication in schools. Facebook and Twitter are two of the many social media outlets that schools use to connect with their district.
Help them reach their goal of 2,000 followers by “liking” Albert Lea Area Schools on Facebook and following its Twitter account @AlbertLeaSchool.
Stay up to date on the latest from the district including photos from school events, alumni news and school closings/delays.
The district is also interested in hearing general feedback from the public about how we are doing as a district. If an individual has comments, concerns or thoughts about Albert Lea Area Schools please e-mail WeListen@alschools.org.
Community feedback is important to us as we strive to continuously improve.
Mike Funk is the superintendent of Albert Lea Area Schools.
