Dwaine was the owner and operator of Bridley’s Auto Salvage, north of Gordonsville, for more than 60 years and was still working at the time of his passing. Cars were his passion, evident with his early years in racing. As a hobby he collected and sold antiques for a time.  He loved horses — which he participated with in wagon trains, driving his replicated Wells Fargo stage coach with a six- or eight-horse hitch.

Dwaine served in the U.S. Army and was stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, during the Korean conflict. Before starting his business, he worked at Wilson’s Packing Plant in Albert Lea.

He is survived by his daughter, Deby Bridley Huckins, and her husband, Criss, of Sulphur, Louisiana; his son, Shane Bridley, and his wife, Annette, of Emmons; his loving sister, Darla Bridley Beighley, of Albert Lea; as well as a nephew, nieces and other family members.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Alice Jeanette Hanson Bridley; and sister, Darlene Bridley Doughty.
