Visitation for Nancy P. White of Hartland will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Bonnerup Funeral Service in Albert Lea. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Riverside Cemetery in Marshalltown, Iowa.

Nancy died on Monday, Jan. 4, 2016, at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester. She was 72.

Nancy Pearl was born Jan. 2, 1944, in Grinnell, Iowa, the daughter of Harry and Helen (Huck) Kent.

Nancy was united in marriage to Darrell Joseph White on Dec. 16, 1961.

Throughout her life Nancy  lived in Tama and LeGrand, Iowa; Oceanside, California; Albert Lea; and then retired to Hartland. A very hard and diligent worker, Nancy had worked at Kiowa in Marshalltown, Jet Products while in California and then at Streater in Albert Lea, from which she retired.

Nancy loved spending time with her family and enjoyed the company of her pet companion Butch.

Nancy enjoyed crafting, always making things for others and will especially beremembered for her bowling ball creations. She also enjoyed puzzles, word searches and yard work.

Nancy is survived by her children Teresa (Todd) Griffiths, Joe White, Chris (Jeannie) White, Annette (Cliff) Bentley, John (Colleen) White and June (James) Piepho; grandchildren Bradley and Sarah Griffiths, Morgan, Marlene, Joey and Jovanna White, Hunter and  Kyle White, Halie Sievers, Monique and Monisha Bentley, Darrell and Rookie White and Arian, Cole and Gabriel Piepho; great-granddaughter, Malie; brother, Harold (Peg) Kent; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Darrell, in 2014.
