With spring officially here, the Albert Lea Tribune is again organizing efforts for hanging flower pots downtown.

For $70 per hanging pot, people can donate to the effort. It is a great way to honor or memorialize family members or loved ones.

In the last two years, the effort gained tremendous support from the community, and we anticipate the support this year to be just as high. We ask anyone who wishes to participate to do so.

Checks can be made out to The Chamber Foundation and then mailed to Attn: Angie Hoffman, Albert Lea Tribune, 808 W. Front St., Albert Lea MN 56007.

Contributors will be recognized in the future.

The flower pots last year were beautiful, and we look forward to seeing them line Broadway again this year. This year they will not only be on North Broadway but South Broadway as well.

Let’s make downtown Albert Lea dazzle.
