Lake Mills woman injured in rollover crash

EMMONS — A Lake Mills woman was injured this morning in a three-vehicle rollover crash in Emmons.
The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a rollover crash on Lake Street at approximately 12:45 a.m.
According to a Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office press release, a Dodge truck driven by Sarah Dawn Heath, 40, was heading east on Lake Street when it sideswiped an unoccupied passenger car, causing some damage, before striking a second unoccupied passenger car, which caused major damage and caused the truck to roll on its driver’s side.
According to the press release, when deputies arrived on scene they located the Dodge on its side within the roadway, along with two other passenger cars that had been struck by the truck.
Heath had reportedly left the truck and was being tended to by first responders. She was then reportedly transported to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea for her injuries. Her condition was not available as of press time.
Heath was reportedly wearing a seatbelt, and the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
