During Freeborn County Historical Museum’s Discover History Days, Albert Lea High School 11th grade humanities class, which researched 16 different subjects in the Museum and Village, will teach the fifth-grade students from eight schools about the history of Freeborn County.
The 11th grade students, who have been researching their topics since March, will teach around 40 students throughout the day. Each fifth-grade student is able to attend four sessions about various aspects of 1850s to early 1900s history. According to a press release, this is the 19th year for this program at the museum.
