Dayton’s gas tax is reasonable

Gov. Mark Dayton has offered a reasonable compromise solution to the transportation funding problem. The 5 cent per gallon tax increase he proposes is fair. With gas prices so low now this tax increase will hardly be noticeable and will hurt no one.
Roads should be paid for by those who use them. Motorists should appreciate the safe and smooth roads our taxes pay for and be gladly willing to pay for them.
