WASECA — The Minnesota teen accused of plotting an attack on his high school two years ago is back home.
Nineteen-year-old John LaDue returned to his parents’ home in Waseca Wednesday after a judge last month determined the teen was no longer a threat to the community.
LaDue completed a jail sentence for possessing explosives in January. He was arrested in April 2014 after police found him with bomb-making materials in a storage unit. Authorities also seized firearms and ammunition from his home.
He was released from a mental health facility in Minnesota and will continue to serve probation.
