Cori Madson and Jason Boxrud, both of Mankato, announce their engagement.

The bride is the daughter of Tim and Su Madson of Albert Lea, and the granddaughter of Ralph and Marilyn Olson of Albert Lea and Clarice and the late Juul Madson of Minnetonka. She is a graduate of Albert Lea High School.

The groom is the son of Barb and Ron Toenies of St. Michael and James and Sarah Boxrud of Mankato, and the grandson of Carlyle Larsen of Madison. He is a graduate of Lac qui Parle Valley High School.

An Oct. 21, 2016, wedding is planned in Mankato.
