Students dress up, eat a traditional turkey meal

Students at Hawthorne Elementary School got a jumpstart on the holiday season Wednesday during a special lunch in honor of Thanksgiving. Students were encouraged to dress up, and were then served a traditional Thanksgiving meal. The cafeteria was decorated with special table settings and orchestra students from Albert Lea High School were on hand to provide music while the students ate lunch with friends.
