Merry Christmas and happy new year! Just a quick reminder, we will be closed Dec. 24 through Jan. 3.
Please feel free to stop in Jan. 4 to renew your membership or redeem a membership gift you received. We are open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Friday.
The museum staff and board are busy making plans for our January fundraiser and our annual meeting. Our fundraiser will be Jan. 20 at the Moose Lodge. We will serve a meatball and mashed potato dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. The tickets are $8. You will be able to purchase tickets at the CVB and museum.
On Jan. 24, we will have our annual meeting and volunteer recognition dinner. The meeting will start at 6 p.m. Please contact the museum if you would like to attend.
Our first defensive driving class will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 14. If you are an AARP member, the cost is $20; all other attendees are $25. These costs do include the museum’s administrative fee. Please pre-register at the museum before Jan. 14.
Thank you to everyone who has supported the museum in 2016. We are looking forward to a wonderful 2017!
Remember to check us out on Facebook and make sure to follow us to get updates on the museum. Also, you can hear me on KATE radio every Sunday morning for updates from the museum. I love visitors, too, so come on in and see me. We are open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays.
