A gathering time for friends and family of Thomas Luke Callahan of Albert Lea will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Bonnerup Funeral Service in Albert Lea.

Thomas died Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017, at Mayo Clinic in Rochester. He was 56 years of age.

Thomas was born June 6, 1960, in Albert Lea, the son of James and Beverly (Haugrud) Callahan. He attended public school in Albert Lea.

Tom was a lifelong resident of Freeborn County and had been employed by Land O’ Lakes for over 15 years. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, the Minnesota Twins and Vikings. His real passion was the time he spent riding his bike.

Thomas is survived by his daughters Casey Everson of Austin and Nicole Everson of Austin; grandchildren Alexis and Aiden Uher, Isaac, Brianna and Rudy; sister, Belinda Fisher of Albert Lea; brothers Dennis Callahan of Albert Lea, John (Karen) Callahan of Glenville, Jimmy Callahan of Albert Lea and Tim Callahan of Twin Lakes; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Dan and Jeff Callahan.
