Area dance teams compete in Rochester

- On April 9, nine teams from the Albert Lea Just For Kix teams competed at Rochester Regional Sports Center. Five teams placed first, including fourth-grade, fifth-grade, sixth-grade, wee jazz and middle jazz. The seventh-grade team and the junior jazz team placed second. The end of the season show is May 7 at Albert Lea High School with shows at 2 and 4:30 p.m. Pictured is the fourth-grade mini kix team with soloist Zoie Jensen. - Provided
