Benefit in Albert Lea scheduled

A benefit for Jason Westcott will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the 4-H building in the Freeborn County Fairgrounds.
There will be a meal, auctions, a bake sale and a DJ at the benefit.
On Feb. 24, 2014, Westcott was diagnosed with Stage 4 metastic melanoma, which spread to his nearby lymph nodes,.
Proceeds will help offset expenses the family has incurred as a result of his treatment.
Westcott and his wife, Denise, have three children and five grandchildren.
He is an Albert Lea native and a graduate of Albert Lea High School and Riverland Community College. He is employed at Larson Contracting in Lake Mills.
