Sophie Hanson and Drew Claussen, both of Albert Lea, announce their engagement.

The bride is the daughter of Greg and Kris Hanson of Albert Lea, and is the granddaughter of Colleen Ingvaldson of Albert Lea, the late Earl Wadding and the late Eva and the late Donald Hanson. She is a 2009 graduate of Albert Lea High School and a 2013 graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College, where she majored in elementary education. She is a kindergarten teacher at Halverson Elementary School.

The groom is the son of Therese and Dan Claussen of Albert Lea, and is the grandson of June and Dell Claussen and Sylvia and the late Casey Dziura, all of Albert Lea. He is a 2009 graduate of Albert Lea High School and a 2013 graduate of the University of Minnesota, where he majored in communication studies. He is a technical writer for Lou-Rich Inc.

A June wedding is planned in Clear Lake, Iowa.
