Man injured in crash and other reports

A man was reported injured in a rollover four-wheeler crash at 4:38 p.m. Saturday at 206 S. Central Ave., Hollandale. The man, who was described as elderly, bleeding from his head and having chest pain, was transported by Ellendale ambulance.
1 arrested for
drunken driving
Albert Lea police arrested James Scott VanEngelenburg, 59, for third-degree driving while intoxicated at 9:23 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of North Broadway and Wilson Street in Alden.
1 cited for open container
Police cited Taven Lee Christensen, 22, for having an open container in a motor vehicle after an untitled investigation was made at 9:01 p.m. Saturday at 2808 Bridge Ave.
Items stolen
A 9 mm gun was allegedly stolen out of a truck at 10:21 a.m. Saturday at 905 Clausen Ave. The last time the victim saw the gun was two to three weeks ago, police records state.
Tools were allegedly stolen from a shop at 1:55 p.m. Saturday at 707 W. Clark St. Loss was estimated at around $1,360.
Check forgery was reported at 6:31 p.m. Sunday at O’Reilly Auto Parts, 2002 E. Main St.
Two cellphones were allegedly stolen at 12:20 a.m. Monday at 624 Larimore Circle.
Assaults reported
An assault on a 15-year-old boy was reported at 8:59 p.m. Friday at 404 Fountain St.
Inappropriate photos were reported sent through social media at 11:34 p.m. Friday. A woman alleged that her daughter was sexually assaulted by a student at school.
Gas theft reported
A gas theft of nearly $30 was alleged at 12:48 p.m. Saturday at 309 E. Main St., Clarks Grove.
Break-ins reported
An attempted vehicle break-in was reported at 1:14 p.m. Saturday at 404 Fountain St. Scratches were observed on the vehicle.
A door was allegedly kicked in and items stolen at 4 p.m. Sunday at 806 Fairlane Terrace.
Drug violation reported
A drug violation was reported at 7:22 p.m. Saturday at 2111 Stevens St.
