Letter: Legion Auxiliary’s Poppy Day slated for later in May

Albert Lea’s American Legion Auxiliary chapter 56 is proud to declare Friday, May 19, Poppy Day. We will be at Hy-Vee and Market Place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Poppies are made by veterans, and all donations go to veteran projects.

We thank you for all donations. We thank all veterans who have served and given us this free country we live in.
