The Albert Lea boys’ golf team had a solid first day in a two-day tournament in Le Seuer on Friday.

Sam Chalmers found his stroke and led the Tigers with an 85. Bergan Lundak notched an 86 and Danny Chalmers finished with an 87.

Hayden Johnston followed with a score of 90 and Logan Howe entered the clubhouse with a 95. Marty Syverson shot 101.

Albert Lea is one of seven teams partaking in the two-day meet.

The meet will conclude today.
