Students listed on dean’s list

North Dakota State University released the names of the students listed on the dean’s list. Among those were Trey Allis of Wells and Veronica Schindler of Wells.

Students honored at Buena Vista University

Amelia Evenson of Lake Mills and Tanner Jensen of Lake Mills received an Academic Excellence Award.

This Academic Excellence Award is given to students whose cumulative GPA is 3.75 or higher. They represent the top 10 percent of each class.

Area students graduate

Several area students graduated from North Dakota State University. Those students include Suzie Ann Marin of Albert Lea who received a bachelor’s degree in strategic communication; Trey Allis of Wells received a Bachelor of Science in agricultural and biosystems engineering in agricultural and biosystems engineering; Veronica Mary Schindler of Wells received a bachelor’s degree in equine science.

King awarded a scholarship

Emily King of New Richland was awarded a scholarship to St. Scholastica in Duluth.

King was accepted to start the fall of 2017.

SDSU releases dean’s list

South Dakota State University released the names of students on the dean’s list. Among those were Allison Grandstrand of Albert Lea, Andrea Tomschin of Alden, Kailie Drescher of Alden, Hannah Wangsness of Alden, Mary Bjorklund or Clarks Grove and Rosemary Hubly of Clarks Grove.

Herfindahl listed Minn. West dean’s list

Trevor Herfindahl was on the dean’s list for Minnesota West Community and Technical College.

Riecke listed on chancellor’s list UMass

Sarah Riecke of Hartland was named on the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth chancellor’s list. Student’s listed on the chancellor’s list have a GPA of 3.8 or higher.

Laurie graduates from U of M Crookston

Sidney Laurie of Albert Lea graduated from University of Minnesota Crookston this past spring. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in early childhood education and elementary education.

Sundblad listed on dean’s list

Luke Sundblad of Albert Lea was on the dean’s list for Minnesota State University Moorhead.

To qualify, students must be in a degree-seeking status and maintain a GPA of 3.25 or higher average while completing a minimum of 12 graded credits.

Area students listed on dean’s list

Sam Moyer and Sydney Rehnelt have been listed on the dean’s list at Luther College.

Students must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher and must complete 12 credit hours with 10 hours of conventional grades.
