The Lake Mills softball team earned a split in its tournament on Saturday, going 1-1 against two solid opponents.

In the first game, Lake Mills fell to Rockford 8-4, but rebound with a big 14-2 win over Riceville.

Ashley Groe finished the game with three runs batted in and Jade Gasteiger pitched a complete game and added three hits.

Gasteiger pitched a complete game in the loss to Rockford and struck out five.

Lake Mills is 4-4 on the season and will play at North Union tonight.
