An Albert Lea man who was allegedly in possession of nearly 150 doses of LSD last week pleaded not guilty Thursday in Freeborn County District Court.

Andrew Peter Borland, 23, is charged with one count of second-degree drug possession, one count of third-degree possession, three counts of fifth-degree drug possession, one count of misdemeanor having no proof of insurance, one count of misdemeanor driving after revocation and one count of misdemeanor driving through a barricade.

Multiple controlled substances were reportedly found inside of a drawstring bag, including 2.2 grams of DMT, 13.2 grams of MDMA, 2.3 grams of mushrooms, 147 doses of LSD, 5 grams of marijuana wax, 55.2 grams of marijuana, 1 gram of a marijuana joint and CBD hemp additive.

Borland allegedly admitted the bag was his, and he reportedly did not say where he bought the drugs after initially saying they were purchased at Harmony Park.

A settlement conference is scheduled for Aug. 30, and a jury trial is scheduled for Nov. 28, if the case has not been settled by then.

Borland has a probation violation hearing scheduled for Aug. 30 in a case that includes two counts of felony criminal vehicular operation tied to a 2012 case.
