This weekend, my kids and I were able to go check out the new Albert Lea splash pad downtown. What an amazing gift this is to our community! The splash pad had about 20 kids of all ages jumping, splashing and playing with each other peacefully. Parents sat on the outskirts and chatted with each other while watching the kids play. Thank you to the entire committee that was able to make this dream a reality. In the few years I have lived in Albert Lea, I have seen some amazing changes, and feel that this is just one more thing that will be of a benefit to the families that live here. I look forward to many more years of warm summer afternoons spent there.
