Ivory Hicks and Joshua Portz of Lyle announce their engagement.

The bride is the daughter of Robert and Laurie Rothering of Cashton, Wisconsin. She is a 2002 graduate of Arcadia High School and 2004 graduate of Winona Technical College, where she majored in nursing. She is a nurse manager.

The groom is the son of Linda Portz of Albert Lea. He is a graduate of Albert Lea High School and a 2009 graduate of Concordia University, where he majored in organizational leadership and management. He is a transportation superintendent.

A May 5, 2018, wedding is planned in Albert Lea.
