The Civil War Roundtable meeting will include a presentation by Gary Schindler on the 1860 election, making Abe Lincoln president of only the states remaining in the Union. Gary’s presentation will be at 7 p.m. Thursday in the media center of Southwest Middle School. A discussion of the topic will be held as always, and the drawing for a free book will be be given to a lucky attendee. This is a free community event and open to all.
