4 arrested, cited for drug violations

Albert Lea police arrested Kristine Nicholle Hopper, 26, for fifth-degree controlled substance possession, misdemeanor possession of syringes and petty misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession after a medical situation was reported at 6:55 p.m. Friday in Albert Lea.

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Misty Star Possehl, 37, for gross misdemeanor fifth-degree meth possession, gross misdemeanor fifth-degree Schedule 4 Drug possession, misdemeanor pantoprazole drug possession, misdemeanor ondansetron drug possession and petty misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession after follow up on an investigation was reported at 1 a.m. Monday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.

Deputies cited Andrew John Hareid, 27, for possessing a small amount of marijuana and possessing drug paraphernalia after drug violations were reported at 10:50 p.m. Friday at 409 W. Main St. in Geneva.

Deputies cited Brittany Jane Brewer, 30, for driving after revocation and possessing a small amount of marijuana after disorderly conduct was reported at 2:24 a.m. Sunday at 89846 260th St. in eastern Freeborn County.

2 arrested for drunken driving

Police arrested Alison Kaye Peterson, 22, for second-degree driving while intoxicated and driving after revocation after a careless driving complaint was made at 1:05 a.m. Saturday at 2708 Bridge Ave.

Minnesota State Patrol troopers arrested one person for driving while intoxicated at about 12:28 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Minnesota Highway 13 and 263rd Street. The person’s name was not available at press time.

Items stolen

A camper was reported stolen at 6:03 p.m. Sunday at 78726 235th St.

A vehicle was reportedly broken into and $150 taken at 8:01 a.m. Friday at 610 Ruble Ave. The incident allegedly took place during the nighttime hours.

Car keys were reported stolen at 9:55 a.m. Sunday at 2301 Margaretha Ave.

1 arrested  on warrant

Police arrested Jon David Stout, 30, on a local warrant at 10:01 a.m. Sunday at 212 S. Washington Ave.
