Burglaries reported

Two windows were reported broken and access gained through a sanctuary window at the back of the building at 8:35 a.m. Wednesday at Assemblies of God Church, 1540 South Shore Drive. Access to the church office was reported made through an interior window. A register in the youth area of the church was described as damaged, but there was less than $5 in the register. A key ring was reported missing.

An attempted theft was reported at 4:51 a.m. Wednesday at Esperanza Tienda Mexicana, 1100 S. Broadway Ave. The reporting person caught the male committing the act, and he apparently caused a hole in the wall. The male was described as last seen wearing a dark hoodie and running from the scene.

1 arrested on warrant

Albert Lea police arrested Tyler Anthony Hall, 33, on a local warrant at 6:57 p.m. Wednesday at 1010 Fountain St. Charges requested for Hall included an misdemeanor order for protection violation and obstructing justice.
