Child in need of protection reported
A Department of Human Services report of a child in need of protection was made at 8:07 a.m. Tuesday in Albert Lea.
Theft, damage reported
A car was reported broken into at 12:29 p.m. Tuesday at 152 Bridge Ave. A radio was removed from the vehicle, along with several ink pens. Estimated loss from the incident was $50.
A window was reported broken out of a screen door at 1:51 p.m. Tuesday at 1117 S. Fourth Ave.
Damage to a Nissan was reported at 11:02 p.m. Tuesday at 610 Ruble Ave. A mirror was broken and the side of the vehicle was damaged, possibly from a baseball bat.
A red Trek bicycle was reported taken at 11:52 p.m. Tuesday at 621 Hope Lane.
1 arrested on warrant
Albert Lea police arrested Jose Arturo Sanchez, 27, on a Watonwan County warrant after a domestic incident was reported at 2:05 p.m. Tuesday at Burger King, 2011 E. Main St.
