Child in need of protection, abuse/neglect reported
A child in need of protection was reported at 11:18 a.m. Wednesday in Albert Lea.
A child abuse/neglect report was filed at 7:18 a.m. Wednesday.
A child abuse/neglect report was filed at 4:23 p.m. Wednesday in Freeborn County.
Thefts, burglary reported
A $20 counterfeit bill was reported at 8:23 a.m. Wednesday at CCF Bank, 2630 Bridge Ave.
A report of check fraud and possible mail theft was made at 9:03 a.m. Wednesday at 1605 Crystal Drive.
A basement was broken into with items missing at 11:20 a.m. Wednesday at 515 Triangle Drive. A leather coat valued at $300 was reported missing, and the alleged victim said he last saw it last fall. A nailgun was reportedly found in the front yard behind a tree.
A women’s black Huffy bicycle with gold lettering was reported taken from a residence at 11:24 a.m. Wednesday at 510 N. Central Ave. in Geneva.
