The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Freeborn County until 4 p.m.

The weather agency states a severe thunderstorm was found at 2:54 p.m. over Freeborn, moving southeast of 20 mph.

Hail damage to vehicles is expected with wind damage to roofs, siding and trees.

The storm is expected to be near Hartland at 3:10 p.m. and Albert Lea and Clarks Grove around 3:35 p.m.

For protection, people are advised to move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
