U.S. Sen. Tina Smith’s constituent services staff will meet with the public from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Vitality Center in Albert Lea as part of the senator’s statewide constituent services tour. The tour is designed to inform Minnesotans about how Smith can go to bat for them when they need help working with a federal agency.
According to a press release, Smith’s staff will be available to meet one-on-one with residents who need help working with agencies, such as the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services, Social Security Administration or the Passport agency. The stop is one of several Sen. Smith’s staff will make in communities across the state in the coming months.
The services are free and open to all residents. No appointment is necessary to meet with Sen. Smith’s staff. For more information on the Constituent Services Tour, call 651-221-1016.
